Assignment #2 - Streaming

I love YouTube for a variety of reasons but mainly, it's just what I need to brighten up a bad day. Here are a couple of my favourties.

NINJA KITTY - This one's the best!

Okay, so I might be a bit of a self-professed cat lady but these YouTube videos make me laugh...everytime!

I think you tube has become so popular because it's easy to use and everyone has the ability to become a movie producer.

I will never stop using YouTube, it's gotta be the best thing since sliced bread!

Why a 6.5 you ask?

I gave myself a 6.5 out of a possible 10 when it comes to my knowledge of Web 2.0

Reason being, while I'm comfortable with using social media for basic functions like posting on Facebook, sending out a tweet or uploading a video to YouTube, I know the capabilities of social media far exceed my actual usage.

I use social media for both personal and professional purposes. Professionally speaking, I could benefit from knowing more about metrics tracking and monitoring the impact or reach of what I'm posting on behalf of my organization.

While frequency of use is important, I think it's really about using social media smarter so that our communication efforts are effective, content-driven and most importantly, meaningful.
